Commissions

Private commissions are our favourite work.

When the brief is personal, we can do something rare: write, arrange, and shape the music so the night has its own identity. Subtle when it should be subtle. Grand when it should be grand.

Three levels of ambition

Projects are shaped around preparation and scale, rather than a standard hourly structure.

Mode I

Ensemble performance

A curated set with minimal customisation—maximum polish.

  • Refined repertoire
  • Scaled line-up
  • Clean delivery
Mode II

Bespoke program

Tailored repertoire and featured moments shaped around the room and run-sheet.

  • Custom arrangement(s) as needed
  • Moment design: entrance, speeches, finale
  • Rehearsal scoped in
Mode III

Commissioned writing

Original work, orchestration, or a fully structured musical concept for the evening.

  • Writing + orchestration
  • Rehearsals built into scope
  • Full creative direction

How it works

A calm process that protects your time—and protects the standard.

1) Brief

We learn the room, the pacing, and what the night needs to feel like. A five-minute brief can be enough.

2) Concept outline

We propose the ensemble format and musical direction—often with a few optional “signature moments”.

3) Proposal + scope

We provide a quote range, then a formal proposal when scope is confirmed (instrumentation, rehearsal, custom work).

4) Delivery

Rehearsed, directed, and executed with discretion. The result should feel effortless.
