Based in Sydney, FUNKD specialises in big band and jazz, and operates through a network of specialised ensembles across jazz, classical, pop, and musical theatre—allowing each project to be tailored to the occasion.
Direction
Directed by Musical Director Alex Putra. Projects are overseen through musical direction, arranging, and production oversight. The focus is on doing the work that allows an event to feel effortless.
What we deliver
We present everything from soloists, jazz combos, and chamber quartets through to large-scale productions such as full big bands, musical theatre orchestras, and classical orchestras. The constant is the standard.
